Whitepaper ONE Record – One system to connect them all

To provide the air cargo industry with a global standard for data sharing, IATA established One Record, a data-centric model, which aims to set a new milestone in the future of digital logistics.

“Using a common data sharing standard like ONE Record allows us to focus on data and its use rather than how to get it.”
– Henk Mulder, Head Digital Cargo, IATA

ONE Record is aimed at creating a single record view of a shipment. It defines a common model for the shared data via a standardized and secured web API, which allows cargo airlines, shippers, forwarders, ground handlers, and all other entities from the supply chain to interact freely and in real-time, to transmit data including rich content, and to get instant notifications and acknowledgment.

This Whitepaper provides all necessary information on the initiative as well as its functions and benefits for the freight forwarding industry.
